Quotation for Short-Term Lease of Two Long-Reach Excavators for AYLA Project

To whom it may concern,

As the contractor for the Dredging, Reclamation, and Shore Protection Works at Ayla, Dhigufaru Reef, Noonu Atoll, we are pleased to invite your company to participate in, evaluate and submit a quotation for the short-term lease of two long-reach excavators for this Project in accordance with this Inquiry document and other instructions contained herein. The Project site is located in Ayla Resort. The requirements of the quotation are shown in the below information:

1. Equipment Requirements

This tender solicits bids for the leasing of the following construction equipment:

l  Long-Reach Excavators (Model 340L or equivalent and above): 2 units

2. Quotation Basis

l Suppliers shall quote prices for both monthly lease and per hour usage.

l Equipment 1: One (1) unit for a long-term lease period of one (1) month.

l Equipment 2: One (1) unit for a temporary lease, priced per operating hour, with an estimated total requirement of approximately 140 hours.

l Equipment must support shift operations as required.

3. Supplier Obligations

l Guarantee all equipment is in optimal working condition (free from critical malfunctions, with maintenance support capability).

l Supply certified and experienced operators responsible for:

Safe equipment handling;

On-site routine maintenance and minor repairs.

l Replace wear-and-tear components (e.g., undercarriage parts, hydraulic systems) at the supplier’s expense.

l Mobilize machine and guarantee all machines arrive in Male within March, 2025.

4. Lessee’s Responsibilities

The lessee will provide and fund:

l Equipment mobilization/demobilization inside Maldives

l Fuel consumption

l Operator transportation (round-trip from the supplier’s designated location)

5. Contract Duration & Eligibility

l Anticipated lease term: As specified in Clause 2 (adjustable based on project requirements).

l Pre-qualification: Bids are restricted to suppliers pre-registered in the CCCC supplier system

6. Compliance & General Terms

l All equipment must adhere to Maldives environmental and occupational safety standards.

l Detailed contractual terms (insurance, liability, termination clauses, etc.) shall align with the standard equipment leasing agreement.

7. The proposal shall be consists of the following parts:

l Quotation (Quotation format reference Attachment 1);

l Attachment 2 Company Profile (if have)

l Proposal should include the following information: the specification of machine, the unit price for lease, the payment items, etc. for the above proposal & plan.

8. Quotation Submission Route

All costs and expenses incurred by you in preparing your quotation will be borne solely by you. Your competitive price for the provision of the Material and delivery to CHEC Site will certainly be encouraged and welcomed.
